Hi Barry, Bob,

We would both like to say a huge thank you to both of you for being a part of our Wedding Day! The way you both made everything so easy was a real help and meant we could both enjoy the day to its fullest!
The way you managed to turn us from being petrified of the first dance to actually enjoying it was amazing, and the feeling we both got when we walked into the room full of cheering was such an immense experience, it really was so enjoyable!
Your music choices for the evening were spot on and I think everyone enjoyed the entertainment all day long!
I have left a review on Highgate House Trip Advisor page as well as Google and mentioned you both on there and how special you made our day!

Wedding held in March 2019.

We cannot thank Vintage music, Bob and Barry enough.
They were the perfect DJs and hosts and really did get everyone on the dance floor.
They aren’t just DJs but supplied our “LOVE” sign and amazing sweet cart also – by having you do all of these it meant we didn’t have to worry about the little extras that made our wedding day so special.

Wedding October 2018

Hi Barry and Bob

Firstly apologies for the delay in this thank you! I can hardly believe its been 99 days since the wedding.
I just wanted to send over an email to thank a big thank you to you both for making our wedding extra special. Your patience was very much appreciated  (after the mother in law disappeared!).
We loved the extra special touches, such as the second dance and last dance. We have some amazing photos and memories of the day.
Thank you again and I will definitely be recommending you to friends and family in the future.

Wedding September 2018  

Dear Barry and Bob,

We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you both, for making our day and evening so perfect. We had a ball and it was everything and more that we wanted. We always said we wanted to be enjoying the party with our guests, and you both enabled us to do that.  My feet were so sore on Sunday morning, always a good sign the morning after.
Comments from our guests have been great…’amazing MC who made us all feel part of the day and relaxed’….’best wedding music’….’your DJ was amazing’….’can you send me the details for your MC and DJ’.
I know my uni mates requested a few weird and wonderful numbers, from our days at agricultural college, Bob- they said you had everything.

August 2018 wedding at Highgate House 

“A big thank you to Bob and Barry for helping to make our wedding day perfect. A pre-meeting with Barry helped us to feel at ease with the music element of our wedding. On the day everything ran smoothly, it was lovely to hear our own personal CDs during the wedding breakfast. Barry kicked off the evening entertainment, bossing everyone around perfectly!! Once Barry took over everyone was following his instructions, allowing for our cake-cutting and first dance to run flawlessly. We had many people comment on the perfect volume of the disco, it was just right, allowing our mixed guests to enjoy the music and dance or enjoy the music and chat-a rarity at most discos!! There was a fantastic mixture of music to suit our guests of varying music taste and age. We would thoroughly recommend Bob and Barry! “

Wedding 20th April 2018

“From booking my first appointment to meet with Katie the Event Planner to the day of my wedding I have nothing but positive to say about the Highgate House staff, everyone we met along the way have been professional and nothing was a problem..
The organisation and planning was faultless and stress-free, I can honestly say that I enjoyed dealing with such lovely people. The day itself was as promised, the food was amazing and I was stunned that it all came out hot and most of all delicious.
I would not hesitate in recommending this establishment and it’s great staff to anyone wishing to book an event or wedding; they know what they are doing!

The evening entertainment was the exceptional DJ / MC duo, Bob and Barry, they took control and ensured everyone was dancing the night away to our favourite tunes and even made sure the Groom and I had a precious 10 minutes on our own with a glass of Champagne before the evening party commenced, priceless!

“We had our wedding here and all of the staff were amazing and knew exactly what we wanted, and helped calm the nerves. Bob and Barry from Vintage Music work in partnership with Highgate, and were perfect with the music, the dance floor was not empty once. Thanks to everyone involved.”

Surprise Birthday Party march 2018

Due to poor service received by our original venue for our wedding we were forced to change our venue rather late in the day……thankfully this proved to be a great move.
Highgate House support and those services provided by them if you wanted to select them such as Vintage Music Barry & Bob were first class.
From start to finish and subsequently Amandas 40th surprise birthday also held at Highgate House we have always been impressed.
Barry & Bob add a personal touch and get to understand those important things that make each event your own.
Well worth every penny!

We used Vintage Music for our magical day. They were excellent from the start when we made the call to them. Other Dj’s wanted deposits in advance or before they would come and discuss what we were looking for. Vintage music were completely different, They were over discussed everything and we were delighted with them from the word go. They truly delivered a fantastic evening for us as promised, had everybody up on the dance floor and thoroughly had an amazing time. I am not one for the spot light but Vintage music helped make me feel as comfortable as possible and they went above and beyond when my wife wasn’t feeling well at the end of the night and before they left, offered to come back with a hot water bottle. We would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a DJ for their big day.

Hi Bob,
Well what can we say!…couldn’t wait a year so we’ve just played your first CD music before ceremony and so impressed with the lovely selection…some of my most favourite and emotional… We’ve had a good cry together.
You made our day so special and the care taken by you both is impeccable. The music selection through both the meal and evening was perfect. All guests commented.
Apart from music Barry you made sure nothing went wrong and seemed to guide us through the evening with all the introductions and keeping people in order. Think the slight hiccup that Pete requested went down quite well…and we have instilled on guests it was not a mistake on your part! Purely part of the plan.
We both had an amazing day and would thoroughly recommended you both to any future bride and groom who wish to have a truly perfect experience in your professionalism.
We will certainly enjoy listening to your discs over the years together.

The wedding breakfast music was lovely and to have the background music as keepsakes from the big day is a lovely gesture. Having you Barry announce the cake cutting and first dance and to create an atmosphere for this was brilliant and made such a difference.

As for you Barry well I never thought you would control over 200 guests just by speaking in a clear but loud manner! Dear Barry and Bob

It is so sad we cannot legally get married here in the UK but we are so delighted you actually came out to Gran Canaria and looked after our wedding and evening entertainment! We chose you guys because you get it and we had our meetings in the UK (Thanks Barry for coming to my London office for our meetings)

When we saw you guys on the morning of our wedding setting up in the sunshine, we could not believe it was happening and you guys covered Spain, you did all that for us and kept the prices down as well ……LOL

Our wedding before the Mayor was fabulous and you made our day happen, so guys we cannot thank you enough. Bob your clubby tunes all night had us all wanting more despite the time fast approaching 8am! You haven’t lost it!
